I did not know that Lechon or Roasted Pig actually has lots of benefits? One, it cools down the body temperature. Two, it is high in protein and essential vitamins, amino acid good for overall health. I could go on but before you grab that skin, please bear in mind that too much may be harmful to your health already.
Visited this place located in SM City Sta Rosa. We had a late lunch and was kinda surprised that there were not much people coming in. This wing in SM is under construction that’s probably why, but nonetheless, this location can still be jammed during night time as this was near a BPO office.
We tried the Lechon Belly and Lechon Manok. For as low as Php165, you can get a set meal which includes Lechon rice.
Want unlimited rice? That’s only Php170.
There’s Lechon Fiesta where you can get 2 pieces of Chicken with Rice, 2 Lechon Belly with Rice, 4 Iced Tea and 4 Coffee Jelly for only Php799.
The price is reasonable for me. This is a good place to have your lunch specially if you only have an hour to spare since the service is fast. I appreciated that they cooked this through Lava Rocks which has lots of benefits as well such as reducing the amount of carcinogen. The flavors of the meat were savory and a bit sweet. I liked the crispy skin of the Pork and also the Chicken, too.
The Coffee Jelly though lacked of coffee flavor and the jelly was somewhat watery. The Lechon Rice was too oily and there’s not much Lechon bits in it.
