Han Pao Tea House – what a Chinese feast, indeed!

Han Pao Tea House has been around for over 2 decades and they continue to serve authentic Chinese food on your table. I was able to visit them few months back and I was truly amaze by how they serve their food. This place in Shaw actually opened in 1997. It has some visible tears and wears but still neat and is actually pretty big. They have rooms for functions and meetings so this is one restaurant to consider.

The food presentation was really something that would amaze you. I know it is usual for a Chinese restaurant, but this was served beautifully to my eyes. Even the colors were all bright to me. You can order their ala-carte meals that is good for 2-3 persons. I personally enjoyed the Hot Prawn Salad though I find it a bit sweet, it still is well-balanced because of the savory well cooked Prawn. The Taosi Fish Fillet was soft yet fried to crisp and its sauce was tasty, too. The Salt and Pepper Squid was cooked perfectly as well. And if you’re into noodles, don’t forget to order the Han Pao Noodle Feast as this dish has Braised Beef, Pork , two kinds of Dimsum plus that one hefty noodles in its special sauce.

For the Dimsum, they have almost everything that you’re craving for. It’s amazing that you can have your preferred Dimsum served in this whole cart. I am pretty sure you’d be confused on which one to get first.

Love that everything was chunky, meaty and really yummy! Probably one of my favorite Dimsums I’ve had.

Warm Milk Pudding

For dessert, please do yourselves a favor and order this Warm Milk Pudding as this totally had me “whoa!” It was creamy, soft and warm. Perfect for a rainy weather or even in Summer.
